"What's for Dinner" category winners  --  here to try!

Many of the Williams Foods employees in Lenexa, KS judged the 4 finalists in this category. 
You'll be certain to find something "new and different" for your dining pleasure with any one of these delicious recipes.

The Grand Champion recipe, winning $1,000 was Sausage and Egg Pizza submitted by Sylvia Waldsmith of Rockton, IL. This recipe uses Williams Country Gravy and is sure to become a family favorite for breakfast or to serve company for brunch.

First Place winner receives $500. That goes to Danielle Walnuck of Phoenix, AZ for her recipe for  Taco Meatloaf and Spanish Rice. This one recipe helps you create an entire meal for your dining pleasure. Add a salad or fruit and your ready to sit down with your family and enjoy!

Mary Shiver of Ada, OK for her Teriyaki Chicken Wraps with Thai Honey Slaw, received the Second Place Prize of $250. Using both our Williams Teriyaki Wings Seasoning Mix and the Sun Bird Chinese Chicken Salad (dressing) Mix, you will have your family asking for more. What a great way to use of the variety of mixes offered by Williams and SunBird.

Mary Louise Lever of Rome, GA is the 3rd Place Winner and receives $100 for her Crispy Chipotle Chili Oven-Fried Chicken. Mary uses Williams Chipotle Chili Seasoning for her winning recipe but for those that prefer a milder flavor you can certainly use our Williams Original Chili Seasoning for this recipe as well.

The public voted for the winners for chili portion of Williams Great American Chili Recipe Contest.  at the Williams Lenexa Chili Challenge. Each participant sampled all 4 chilis - A, B, C & D, then they voted for their favorite. These 4 finalists were chosen from the hundreds of Chili recipes received for the contest. The voting was very close so you may want to try them all!

Winners for the "Foods Kids Love" category of the
Williams Great American Chili Recipe Contest

They are foods that taste so good they will be enjoyed by both kids and parents. They are nutritious, easy to prepare and children can practically make them all by themselves!

Each of these recipes are "kid approved" as they were submitted by children from across the country. The winners were selected by about 150 fifth and sixth grade students at Walnut Grove Elementary School, in Olathe, Kansas. They all tasted each of the four finalists and cast a vote for their favorite.

The Grand Champion winning recipe,  Healthy Dinosaur Tacos with Fresh Veggies, was submitted by Ellie, a 10-year old in Maine. It combines healthy ground turkey with Williams Taco Seasoning for a great tasting, nutritious taco. Then add to the fun by assembling the tacos so they resemble dinosaurs.

Our First Place winner came to us from Drew in Missouri. Taco Cheese Dip might be just the dip to serve at your next gathering for all ages to enjoy.

The Second Place prize goes to Lindsey in Michigan. Zesty Chicken Taco Pockets with Veggies and Dip and this will certainly quickly become a family favorite at your home.

For a change of pace, our Third Place winner, Jackson in Missouri shared his "Quick and Easy" Sunbird Sweet and Sour Casserole. It's a winner if you are pressed for time and also delicious.
